SCOURGING FORCE LARP- CONCEPTION
This game was created by the eccentric and idealistic mind of Ebony Van-Tassel keen Larper for many years in both fest systems such as Maelstrom and smaller systems like EOS-world of Dawn.
Like everyone who writes any kind of of live-action role-play system or table top for that matter, I had ideals that I believe would make subjectively the most awesome game ever, so that is exactly what I have written.
Things that are important to me are strong themes in this game, which for the most part means "Evil" (In a fantasy fiction way) is cooler and has better dress sense than Good.
If you don't want to play one of the hundreds of flavours of evil I have allowed for in this system then the game probably isn't for you...
I have also included heavy military, dark sci-fi, Orc culture, demon and necromancy themes as I love all of these things and together they create Larp heaven.
Again if you aren't keen, Scourging Force probably isn't going to be your flavour of role-play.
This game is designed to be played with a heavy Player Versus Environment theme in the plot and background but also massively encourage PVP or Player versus Player. Backstabbing, betrayal and assassinations are all thoroughly encouraged and intended to be commonplace.
I would like to see the System maintain high standards of both Monster/Crew and Player kit as I see this as incredibly important to immersion. The Minimum guidelines and Concept Art by yours Truly should outline what The game world should feel like visually.
To this end The game will start to build up to high levels of effects and immersive set once the game has run successfully and maintained player attendance to fund it.
